Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use thekraftboxes.co.uk or contact us, why we use it and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Who we are
The Kraft Boxes, Office 704, 85 Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, WV6 0SR, United Kingdom, is the data controller for this website. Contact us about privacy at info@thekraftboxes.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send a form, email, call or WhatsApp message we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number, company, delivery address, the details of your boxes and any files you attach.
When you browse the site we collect usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity also records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, with form inputs masked.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and proofs, make and deliver your order and keep records for accounts (legal basis: taking steps to enter or perform a contract, and legal obligation).
To understand how the site is used and improve it (legal basis: legitimate interests). You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the business: our website host, our email provider, Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), our live chat provider, our printers and our delivery couriers. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Order records are kept for six years for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data is kept for 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email info@thekraftboxes.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use no advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies to measure visits. The site works fully if you block them.
